Through Every Phase, There Is Space For You

Come As You Are

Your Story Matters Here

At Moonrise Therapy, we believe meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen and heard. We offer thoughtful, compassionate care grounded in clinical expertise, curiosity, and genuine respect for your unique experience.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Together, we'll create a path that honors where you've been, makes space for who you are today, and helps you move toward the life and relationships you want.

Individual Therapy
$200.00

You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.

Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, untangle what you’re carrying, and better understand yourself without judgment or pressure to be anywhere other than where you are. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, struggling in your health or relationships, or realizing that something in your life needs to change, therapy can give you room to explore what’s happening beneath the surface.

At Moonrise Therapy, we believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe enough to be honest. Together, we can explore the patterns, experiences, emotions, and relationships that have shaped you while helping you develop a deeper connection with yourself and what you need.

Therapy isn’t about becoming a different person. It’s about creating space for greater self-understanding, healthier boundaries, more fulfilling relationships, and a life that feels more authentic to you.

You can come as you are, even if you’re not quite sure where to begin.

You May Be Seeking Support With:

You don’t need to have a diagnosis or even know exactly what’s wrong, to come to therapy. Sometimes knowing that something doesn’t feel right is enough of a place to begin.

Couples & Relationship Therapy
$215.00

Relationships can hold some of our deepest love, connection, and joy and they can also be where we feel the most hurt, misunderstood, or alone.

Couples and relationship therapy offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space to slow down and understand what’s happening between you. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, having the same arguments over and over, rebuilding trust, navigating changes in intimacy, or wanting to feel closer to one another, you don’t have to wait until your relationship is in crisis to ask for support.

At Moonrise Therapy, the goal isn’t to decide who is right or wrong. Instead, we work together to understand the patterns underneath the conflict, create space for each person to feel heard, and build new ways of communicating and connecting with one another.

We welcome relationships in all their forms and honor the unique identities, boundaries, values, and agreements that make your relationship yours. Therapy can provide space to explore communication, emotional and sexual intimacy, trust, desire, boundaries, life transitions, and the ways past experiences may be showing up in your relationship today.

Whether you’re hoping to reconnect, navigate a difficult season, strengthen an already loving relationship, or better understand what you both need moving forward, you deserve a space where your relationship can be explored with curiosity, compassion, and care.

Sex Therapy
$200.00

You deserve a space where you can talk honestly about sex, intimacy, and desire without worrying that you’ll be judged, misunderstood, or told what your sexuality should look like.

You may be carrying questions, frustration, shame, confusion, or simply a desire to feel more connected to yourself and your sexuality. Whatever brings you here, you deserve a space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore what sexuality means to you.

At Moonrise Therapy, sex therapy offers a warm, affirming, and compassionate space to explore concerns related to sex, intimacy, desire, pleasure, and relationships. There is no expectation of what your sex life should look like. Instead, we focus on understanding your experiences, your needs, and what a fulfilling relationship with sexuality means to you.

Sex therapy can support individuals and partners navigating differences in desire, changes in sexual connection, difficulty with arousal or orgasm, sexual pain and its emotional impact, body image, performance anxiety, shame, communication around sex, sexual identity, intimacy after difficult experiences, or simply wanting to better understand themselves as sexual beings.

Kink, BDSM & Alternative Lifestyles

Your relationships, desires, and ways of connecting do not need to fit into a traditional mold to be worthy of respect, understanding, and care.

Moonrise Therapy is proudly kink-affirming, BDSM-informed, and welcoming of alternative lifestyles and relationship structures. We offer a space where you can talk openly about these parts of your life without having to educate your therapist, defend your choices, or worry that your identity or consensual practices will automatically be viewed as a problem.

Whether kink and BDSM are an important part of your identity, relationships, sexuality, self-expression, or something you are beginning to explore—therapy can provide a supportive place to better understand your needs, boundaries, desires, communication, and relationships.

We can also explore concerns related to consent and boundaries, communication, shame and stigma, navigating differing desires between partners, relationship agreements, power dynamics, identity, coming out or disclosure, and finding greater confidence and authenticity in the way you choose to experience relationships and sexuality.

Our approach recognizes that there is no single “right” way to experience intimacy or build meaningful relationships. We welcome clients across the spectrum of consensual nontraditional relationships and lifestyles, including kink and BDSM communities, consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, and other alternative relationship structures.

Above all, you do not need to make yourself more conventional to feel understood here.

Our work is collaborative, inclusive, and grounded in the belief that sexuality exists across a wide and beautifully varied spectrum. All genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and consensual expressions of sexuality are welcomed and respected here.

You don’t need to know the “right” words or feel completely comfortable talking about sex before you begin. We can start wherever you are and move at a pace that feels right for you—with curiosity, compassion, and room to be fully human.

Endometriosis, Pelvic Pain & Sexuality

Living with endometriosis or chronic pelvic pain can profoundly change your relationship with sex, intimacy, pleasure, and your body. These experiences deserve to be approached with compassion, not pressure to simply “get your sex life back.”

Sex therapy can provide support with:

  • Fear or anxiety about experiencing pain during sexual activity

  • Changes in sexual desire related to pain, fatigue, stress, or treatment

  • Feeling disconnected from your body or sexuality

  • Grieving changes to your body while creating space for pleasure and connection again

Pain can change your relationship with sexuality, but you are not failing because intimacy looks different than it once did. There is no single way that sex or pleasure is supposed to look. Together, we can make space for the grief and frustration while exploring intimacy, connection, and pleasure in ways that honor your body rather than asking you to push through it.

Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain Support
$200.00

Living with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain can ask so much of you.

It can mean learning how to live in a body that feels unpredictable, painful, or exhausting. It can mean canceled plans, missed work, disrupted intimacy, difficult medical appointments, surgeries, fertility decisions, and constantly having to calculate how much energy you have left to give. And sometimes, it means grieving the life you imagined you would have before chronic illness became part of the picture.

At Moonrise Therapy, you do not have to minimize that grief or convince anyone that your pain is real.

As someone who also has personal experience with endometriosis, I understand that the impact of this disease reaches far beyond physical symptoms. While every person’s experience is different, there can be something deeply meaningful about sitting across from someone who understands that endometriosis is not simply a “bad period.” You deserve a therapeutic space where the emotional weight of living with chronic pain and illness is recognized, believed, and held with compassion.

When Chronic Illness Changes More Than Your Body

Chronic pelvic pain can affect nearly every part of life—your relationship with your body, sexuality and intimacy, work, friendships, independence, identity, plans for the future, and your sense of trust in your own body.

There may be grief for what you have lost, and grief for what might be lost. There may be anger about how long it took to receive answers. Fear before another appointment or procedure. Exhaustion from advocating for yourself. Loneliness when the people around you don't fully understand. Resentment toward a body that seems to demand so much from you and guilt for feeling that resentment in the first place.

There is room for all of it here.

You don't have to find the silver lining. You don't have to be grateful that things aren't worse. And you don't have to perform strength when what you really need is a place to say, this is hard.

Hysterectomy & Surgical Menopause Support

The decision to have a hysterectomy can carry emotions that are far more complicated than people sometimes realize. Whether your surgery is something you have wanted and fought for, something medically necessary, or a decision you have complicated feelings about, relief and grief can exist at the same time.

Therapy can offer a place to process the emotional experience before and after hysterectomy, including fears surrounding surgery, changes in your relationship with your body, questions about identity or fertility, intimacy and sexuality, recovery, and the complicated emotions that can accompany such a significant change.

For those experiencing surgically induced perimenopause or menopause, the transition can feel especially abrupt and disorienting. Physical and hormonal changes may arrive alongside the emotional reality of recovering from surgery and adapting to a body that suddenly feels different. You may find yourself grieving, relieved, angry, hopeful, frightened, or moving between all of those emotions.

None of those feelings cancel the others out.

A Place Where You Don't Have to Explain Why It's Hard

Therapy cannot take away the physical reality of chronic illness, and it should never imply that your pain is simply something you need to think differently about. What therapy can offer is a place where you don't have to carry the emotional weight of it alone.

Together, we can make room for grief, anger, medical trauma, changing relationships with your body, sexual and relational concerns, boundaries, self-advocacy, identity changes, and the ongoing process of building a meaningful life alongside circumstances you never asked for.

You are allowed to mourn what chronic illness has taken from you. You are also allowed to feel hopeful one day and devastated the next. You are allowed to want answers, relief, accommodations, rest, pleasure, connection, and a life that feels like yours again.

At Moonrise Therapy, you don't have to make your experience easier for someone else to hear.

Your pain is worthy of being taken seriously. Your grief deserves space. And you deserve to be supported through all of it.

Chronic illness can create a kind of grief that doesn't always have a clear ending. You may grieve the body you once knew, the plans that had to change, the time you've lost to pain, or the version of life you thought you would have. You are allowed to grieve those things. You are also allowed to feel relieved, angry, hopeful, exhausted, or all of them at once.

Here, you don't have to minimize your pain, make your experience easier for someone else to understand, or find a silver lining. There is space for the reality of what you're carrying.

EMDR Therapy
$200.00

Sometimes, what you’ve been through stays with you in ways you never asked for. Even when you know you’re safe now, your mind and body may still carry the fear, hurt, shame, or overwhelm of experiences that were painful or simply too much to hold at the time.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain process painful or distressing experiences that may still feel unresolved. Using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements—EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to difficult memories and support your brain in processing them in a new way. The goal isn’t to erase what happened or minimize its impact, but to help the past feel less present in your everyday life.

At Moonrise Therapy, EMDR is approached with warmth, patience, and respect for your boundaries. You will never be expected to move faster than feels safe. Your hesitation makes sense. Your emotions make sense. And the ways you learned to protect yourself deserve to be understood with compassion, not judgment.

Whether you’re carrying the impact of trauma, relationship wounds, medical experiences, sexual trauma, grief, or other painful experiences, you deserve a space where what happened and how it affected you is taken seriously.

You don’t have to minimize what you’ve been through in order to deserve support, care, and space to heal.

EMDR May Help With:

  • Trauma and distressing past experiences

  • Childhood trauma and painful early experiences

  • Sexual trauma

  • Relationship trauma, betrayal, and difficult relationship experiences

  • Medical trauma and distressing healthcare experiences

  • Chronic illness and pain-related medical experiences

  • Grief and complicated loss

  • Anxiety, fear, and persistent worry

  • Panic and feelings of overwhelm

  • Difficult or distressing memories that continue to feel present

  • Triggers that bring up intense emotional or physical reactions

  • Shame, guilt, and negative beliefs about yourself

  • Feeling like you are “not enough” or that something is wrong with you

  • Rejection, abandonment, or experiences of not feeling emotionally safe

  • Difficulty trusting yourself or others after painful experiences

  • Feeling stuck in patterns connected to your past

  • Body-based reactions that seem to happen before you can make sense of them

  • Distressing experiences surrounding sex, intimacy, or relationships

  • Fear or anxiety related to medical appointments, procedures, or surgery

  • Painful experiences related to chronic illness or reproductive health

You don’t have to decide whether what happened was “bad enough” to deserve support. If an experience continues to affect how you feel, relate to others, see yourself, or move through the world, it deserves to be met with care.

Clinical Supervision for LPC Associates
$200.00

As an LPC-S, I offer a warm, collaborative, and supportive supervision space where you can grow into the clinician you want to become. Supervision isn’t just about completing your required hours, it’s an opportunity to develop your clinical voice, strengthen your skills, work through challenging cases, and build confidence in trusting yourself as a therapist.

I believe it is important to be able to bring the human parts of becoming a clinician into supervision, too. You can ask questions, acknowledge when you don’t know something, talk through mistakes, and explore the moments that leave you feeling stuck or unsure without fear of being shamed or judged.

Our work together can include case conceptualization, ethics and boundaries, documentation, professional development, therapist identity, countertransference, burnout, and navigating the realities of working in the mental health field.

For associates interested in developing their skills in sex therapy, couples and relationship work, kink and BDSM-affirming care, alternative relationship structures, endometriosis, chronic illness, and trauma-informed therapy, supervision can also provide space to deepen your knowledge and confidence in these areas.

My goal is to provide the kind of supervision where you feel both supported and challenged, where there is room to learn, be curious, make mistakes, celebrate your growth, and become more confident in the therapist you are becoming.

We don’t have to know everything to be a good therapist, we do need a space where we feel safe enough to keep learning.
